 Development plan of Chodanit Sardr Company commenced from Farvardin 1388 (2009 AD) on a 15,000 sqm piece of land with an estimated cost of 20 billion rials. The plan was started with the aim of expanding melting department capacity, setting up inductive furnaces, expanding production hall, setting up of mechanized machines of casting department, core moulding and sand moulding lines. By implementing the plan, the daily capacity production will be increased from 15 to 40 tons. In this concern, laboratories department of Chodanit Sadr Company, by altering laboratory system and purchasing advanced machines, has allocated to itself part of this development plan. Setting up laboratories of metallography, mechanical properties, quantometery, and sand is separately put on the company’s agenda. Building a paint shop by installing fully automated equipment has also been considered in this plan. Chodanit Sadr Company was planning to bring into operation its large developmental plan until the end of Aban 1389 (November 2010); however, the implementation of the plan which had been delayed due to different reasons such as lack of liquidity – because of refusal to pay loan and currency problems –was postponed to 1390 (2011 AD). At present, the construction stage of the workshop has been accomplished and installation of machinery would be performed in the next stage. One of the most important programs of the company after the development of the plan is the increase of exporting products. It will be realized in case there are no problems such as impossibility of opening currency letter of credit. |
